Last updated: August 19, 2026 · Effective for all purchases and accounts on Denterview.com, DenterviewAI.com, PrepMMI.com, and shop.denterview.com
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a single agreement that governs both Denterview (dental school interview and application preparation) and PrepMMI (medical school MMI interview preparation), which are operated by the same business, referred to below as "we," "us," or "the Company." We're referring to whichever of the two products you're using as the "Service." By creating an account, checking the agreement box at checkout, or otherwise purchasing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Denterview or PrepMMI — including browsing the marketing site, creating an account, purchasing a mock interview package, personal statement review, or any other product — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are purchasing on behalf of yourself as an applicant to dental or medical school (or a related health professions program), you represent that you are at least 13 years old and, if under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, that you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to enter into this agreement.
2. Description of the Service
Denterview and PrepMMI are independent educational tools that provide simulated interview practice, feedback, and related preparation materials for applicants to dental school and medical school (respectively). Depending on the product purchased, the Service may include:
AI-generated mock interview sessions (behavioral, traditional, and/or Multiple Mini Interview ("MMI") style stations), including video/audio recording and AI-generated feedback;
Written feedback and edits on personal statements or other application materials;
Downloadable guides, question banks, or preparation materials;
Account access to review past sessions or materials.
The Service is a self-directed study and practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reviewed by any dental school, medical school, admissions committee, Kira Talent, CASPer/Acuity Insights, AAMC, ADEA, or any other admissions or testing organization referenced on our sites.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to notify us promptly at the contact addresses below if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Payments, Pricing & Refunds
Prices for mock interview packages, personal statement reviews, and other products are listed on the applicable site at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (including Stripe and, for certain Denterview products, Payhip); we do not store your full payment card details.
Because our products are digital and delivered electronically, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a product has been delivered or a credit has been used (for example, once a mock interview session has started or a personal statement review has been submitted for processing).
The one exception: at our sole discretion, we may issue a partial or full refund or credit if you provide reasonable proof of a verified technical failure on our end — for example, a session that failed to record or deliver due to a platform bug. Technical difficulty on your side (e.g. browser/camera/connection issues) is not grounds for a refund, but we will always work to get you access to what you paid for. To request a refund, contact us using the information in Section 15 with a description of the issue and any supporting evidence (e.g. a screenshot or screen recording of the error).
Unused interview credits or circuit purchases do not expire unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase, but we reserve the right to retire a product line (with reasonable notice) if we discontinue a service.
5. Disclaimer of Guarantees & No Professional Advice
5.1 No Guarantee of Admission or Any Outcome
Denterview and PrepMMI are practice and preparation tools only. We do not guarantee, promise, or warrant any specific outcome from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: admission or acceptance to any dental school, medical school, or other program; interview invitations; a particular interview score, ranking, or evaluation by any school or admissions body; improvement in your CASPer, Kira, or MMI performance; or any change in the outcome of your application cycle. Admissions decisions are made entirely by third-party institutions based on criteria we do not control, including your full application, academic record, references, interview performance as judged by that institution, and factors specific to that cycle and applicant pool. Any results, testimonials, or examples referenced on our sites reflect individual experiences and are not representative of results you should expect.
5.2 Not Legal, Medical, Psychological, or Admissions Counseling Advice
The Service — including AI-generated interview feedback, personal statement comments, and any guides or materials — is provided for general educational and self-preparation purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, legal advice, medical or psychological advice, licensed admissions counseling, or professional guidance of any kind. We are not a law firm, a medical or mental health practice, or a state-licensed educational consultancy, and no advisor-client, therapist-client, or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the Service. If you need advice specific to your legal, medical, financial, or immigration situation, or if you are experiencing a mental health concern, you should consult an appropriately licensed professional; do not rely on the Service for those purposes.
5.3 AI Limitations
Feedback generated by our AI systems is produced by large language models and automated tooling. It may be incomplete, generic, out of date, or in some cases factually incorrect, and it does not reflect the judgment of any specific admissions committee, interviewer, or licensed reviewer. You are solely responsible for evaluating, verifying, and deciding whether and how to use any AI-generated feedback, including any edits, comments, or suggestions on your personal statement. We strongly encourage you to also seek feedback from mentors, advisors, or professionals you trust before finalizing application materials.
For mock interview sessions, feedback is generated by AI. For personal statement reviews, our process uses AI-assisted drafting tools, and the resulting comments and edits are reviewed and finalized by a current dental student reviewer before being returned to you; the review is not an unreviewed, fully automated AI output.
5.4 Your Own Effort and Judgment
Your results from using the Service — including any improvement in interview performance — depend on factors outside our control, including your own preparation, practice, communication skills, academic record, the specific admissions committee or interviewer you encounter, and circumstances of your individual application. You acknowledge that you are using the Service at your own discretion and that any decisions you make based on the Service's feedback or materials are your own responsibility.
5.5 "As Is" Basis
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
6. AI-Generated Content
Portions of the Service use third-party artificial intelligence models. Mock interview feedback is AI-generated. Personal statement review comments are AI-assisted but reviewed and finalized by a current dental student reviewer before delivery, as described in Section 5.3. By using the Service, you consent to your submitted content (such as recorded interview responses, personal statement drafts, and related materials) being processed by these AI systems and by our reviewers solely to generate your feedback. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is stored and processed.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to misrepresent your identity or the identity of the applicant using the Service;
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service, its question banks, guides, or AI outputs, in whole or in part, without our written permission;
Share your account or purchased credits with others outside a single applicant's use, unless a product is explicitly sold for shared/group use;
Upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or abusive;
Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service's infrastructure, including our backend, database, or third-party integrations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
8. Your Content & Our Content
Your content. You retain ownership of the personal statements, recordings, and other materials you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and use it solely to provide the Service to you (for example, to generate feedback, store your session history, or process a review).
Our content. All question banks, guides, site content, software, and AI-feedback frameworks used to deliver the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the materials for your own application preparation — not a license to redistribute, publish, or resell them.
9. Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party providers to operate the Service, including for authentication and data storage, video/audio storage, payment processing, and transactional email. Your use of the Service may involve your data passing through these providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes on the part of these third-party providers, though we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service running smoothly.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will we, our founder, or our contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities (including any application, admissions, or interview outcome), or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages or warranties, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or chargeback abuse, or other conduct that we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us; this does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 4.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, unless a different governing law is required by the mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction of residence. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved on an individual basis, and you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing formal proceedings.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new products, features, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as an on-site banner or email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
